Financial Strategist.
We are looking for a strategic and highly analytical individual to join our team as a financial strategist. The financial strategist will be responsible for ensuring the overall fiscal health of Sola, so that we can serve for years to come! You’ll be accomplishing this through budget planning, quarterly reviews, and by setting and monitoring sustainability targets.
We’re looking for someone who is bold and aspirational, and isn’t afraid of taking financial risks in pursuit of advancing our organizational mission. You should be able to articulate your vision to other members of the team, including those without a strong financial background.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a plan for fiscal health and sustainability; monitor action items for each functional group
Advise the executive team and recommend strategies regarding financial affairs; including ventures, investment opportunities, scholarships, partnerships, etc.
Prepare high-level budgets for organizational spending; to be used by internal teams
Prepare documents, reports, presentations, pitch decks, etc. as deemed necessary for the purposes of presenting fiscal health to different stakeholder groups
