Logistics Lead.

We are looking for a logistics lead, you will be responsible for all supply chain management duties including venue rentals, selecting suppliers, fulfillment of contracts and providing guidance on sourcing and procurement processes.

Additionally, you will lead the logistics team for the physical conference (Sola Summit) that will be based in Afghanistan. You must demonstrate strong attention to detail in order to oversee logistical operations and logistics employees. In addition to having excellent organizational skills, you will be coordinating with the technical team & partners team for sola verticals both in Afghanistan and abroad.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee event planning and management, venue rentals, fulfillment of contracts related to logistics

  • Manage and work with logistics team

  • Take responsibility for materials ordering and delivery status; documenting all material flows

  • Designated organizational expert on preferred vendors for logistics services (ex: shipping couriers) for internal teams to use as a resource
