Talent Manager.
We are looking for a passionate Talent Manager to assist with the management of Sola’s relations with Afghan creatives. The Talent Manager will acquire partnerships with creatives (ex: visual artists, musicians, singers, etc.) as required and ensure their needs are fully met by way of compensation and exposure.
Afghan creatives are the heart of our community. We want a passionate Talent Manager to ensure that they leave Sola wanting to collaborate with us again, and spreading the word to other artists to rally behind our cause.
A good Talent Manager will have experience acquiring artists or influencers, especially those of Afghan origin, to participate in speaking gigs, workshops, conferences, or general events. They will possess excellent communication skills, and be extremely friendly and passionate about the creative industry.
Responsibilities:
Act as a liaison between the Sola Foundation and artist groups and individuals within the Afghan diaspora
Establish strong relationships with, and recruit, Afghan artists and creatives to feature in Sola programming (ex. Summit appearances, promotional material, etc.)
Work with finance and legal to draw up contracts for each artist and ensure fair compensation
Manage performer and entertainer relationships pertaining to the organization as necessary
